Red Rock Relay - Moab

Another Red Rock Relay has come and gone, leaving me behind with blistered feet, a sunburned nose, and sore legs!

The day before the race we explored Moab. The red rock is absolutely beautiful. We wanted to preserve our energy for the day of the race, so most of our sight seeing was from the car. We will be sure to go back some day to truly experience Moab.

The morning of the race, our team of six piled into the car and ran a total of 70 miles. We finished the race in 11 hours. It was a long, but fun day! Considering the extreme heat, steep hills, and strong wind (and might I add lack of training), we survived!
