Utah State Fair

We went to the Utah State Fair with my sister Ali and her family last Friday night. After passing through the gates, I was instantly greeted by the aroma of deep fried carnival foods. While some go to the fair for the rides, exhibits, livestock, etc., I go for the food. I treated myself to a funnel cake drenched in Bavarian cream and strawberries while Hector opted for something a little less sweet and a little more manly - a smoked turkey drumstick the size of a small child.

If there is one thing that you should know about me, it's that I am a sucker for sweets. The way to my heart is with sugar. No date night is complete without some sort of dessert, and this date night did not disappoint! It was my kind of night.
