Mexico: Part II

While in Mexico, my dad and I were able to go on our first dive in four years. Needless to say, our first dive was a little rough. Amid the sea sickness, forgotten booties, a lost fin and buoyancy issues, we quickly regained our diving skills last used four years ago.

While diving, we experienced a lots of firsts. Our first barracuda encounter, an octopus feeding on an unfortunate lobster, an underwater race on the ocean floor with fellow divers and our first deep sea dive. 

Hector also experienced a few firsts on the trip. He went deep sea fishing with my dad for the first time and even managed to catch his first fish! He also went snorkeling for the first time and is now hooked. Hector told me that snorkeling was the highlight of his trip - now to get him certified for diving!
