Hector and I recently returned from an awesome week in Kauai with my family and are already dreaming up our next big vacation. Hopefully a cure is found before the travel bug strikes again!
We spent countless hours boogie boarding at Shipwreck Beach and Brenneke's Beach, snorkeling at Tunnels beach, relaxing at Ke'e Beach and scuba diving at Koloa Landing (we saw tons of turtles and a monk seal)!
We also kayaked the Wailua River and hiked the Maha'ulepu Heritage Trail and a portion of the Napali Coast trail.
Every night we tried out a new restaurant and found some great local eats. Some of our favorites were Garden Island BBQ, Lihue BBQ Inn, Living Foods Market, and Pizzetta.
By the end of the trip we were all exhausted, covered in cuts and scrapes from Kauai's rugged shoreline, and ready to head home!
